Phase 3 Commissioning Success Sees REFNOVA^® Completion

The third and final phase of REFNOVA^® demonstration plant has now been installed and commissioned, which sees completion of the process – capping off what has been a momentous year for the company.

Consisting of NPT’s unique Thermolysis reactor and condensation systems, the team were able to generate C6 anhydrosugars and char; ultimately proving the core process design which has been in development over the past decade.

With the core concept now verified and fully operational, NPT will now look to enhance REFNOVA^® via continuous process optimisation and a programme of carefully selected operation campaigns, alongside developing its plans for commercialisation.
