Redcar MP Anna Turley visits NPT headquarters and demonstration facility

Nova Pangaea Technologies (NPT) welcomed Anna Turley (MP Redcar and Cleveland) to its headquarters in Redcar, Middlesborough, and for a tour of its demonstration facility. Also in attendance was Gordon Banham, Group CEO of Hargreaves Services plc.

The visit allowed all to learn more about NPT’s REFNOVA® technology and its end products of 2G ethanol and biochar through the utilisation of biomass wastes such as woody residue and non-food derived agricultural waste. Also discussed was NPT’s First of a Kind 2G ethanol plant which would supply Project Speedbird, a partnership with British Airways and LanzaJet to deliver a commercial UK SAF facility.

Sarah Ellerby, CEO of NPT, said:
“Regional and local support are important to NPT and its historic residence in Teesside. We are thankful for the encouragement from both Anna Turley and Gordan Banham, and their understanding of the vital role NPT has in the SAF value chain. Including, the company’s goal to help reduce aviation emissions by offering a viable decarbonisation solution and a route to net zero.”
